Meet “PASTOR J”
Jonathan J. Chisholm was born in Charlotte, North Carolina, on May 24, to Napoleon and Dr. Darlene Chisholm. At the young age of four, He accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior and was filled with the Holy Spirit that same year. He has never been ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. At the age of twelve, he heard the voice of the Lord calling him to preach: Isaiah 6:8: “Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I; send me.” After much study and prayer, he preached his first sermon at the age of fourteen and has never stopped preaching the truth.
On November 3, 2019, at the direction of the Holy Spirit, Minister Jonathan became the Senior Pastor of Mount Zion Christian Ministries (Charlotte, NC). Pastor J, as he is affectionately called by members and friends, enjoys studying and teaching the Word of God to all ages. It is his desire to ignite this generation with the Gospel, demonstrate the power of the Holy Spirit, and share the love of Christ with everyone
he meets.
Pastor J was blessed to marry the love of His life, Angela Pharr Chisholm, on July 1, 2023.

Meet “First Lady Angela”
Angela E. Chisholm, a native of Pineville, North Carolina, is the oldest of two children born to Marcus and Gale Pharr. On
July 1, 2023, she married Pastor Jonathan Chisholm and became
a member of Mt Zion Christian Ministries. She is affectionately called Lady A. by the members of Mount Zion Mt. Zion Christian Ministries.Lady A’s secondary education was completed at Victory Christian Center School. After graduation, Mrs. Angela Chisholm attended Western Carolina University where she received a B.A. in Business Entrepreneurship and Birth-Kindergarten Education. She received her Master Degree in Christian Ministry from More Than Conquerors College.
She is currently employed as an elementary teacher at Victory Christian Center School, which allows her to demonstrate her heart for children. Lady A. also owns and operates her own crafts business, Selah Wood Designs which she uses as a platform to use her gifts to glorify God and inspire others to do the same. Her hobbies and favorite pastimes include sports, journaling, cooking, traveling, and plants.
Lady Angela Chisholm’s ministry passions include studying the Word of God, bringing people together to experience God’s love, and connecting with millennials showing them that it is okay and necessary to be on fire with a sincere love for God in this generation.
